“My passion for assets goes quite deep. My father worked with council assets all his life, so I got to see first-hand the impact of asset management and valuation on the organisation where he worked. I especially saw the role these assets played in the community around us. He managed roads, water and sewer assets more than 25 years, driving asset strategies and maintenance regimes. He was also head of projects for a large, national construction company, building in essence, the future hopes and dreams for thousands of homeowners. That’s why we say that the assets we value have “useful lives”, as the concept is not just about the length of the use of the assets, but whose lives they impact in their lifetime. I am very fortunate to get the chance to lead a group of people here at Australis who also see the importance of assets and takes enormous pride in the work they do, knowing how important it is to our clients and the people they serve.”

“I come from a long history of people in property, and can say proudly, that I am the first female in three generations to keep the skillset going. I have always been a ‘people person’, so being client-focused and accessible has been something of core importance for me. This also has helped me relate to and build enthusiastic and talented teams. I especially enjoy linking that people-focused outlook with my technical skillset born from over two decades in this industry to create something distinctive and meaningful. “
